Dr Eng Soo Kiang is a Fellow in Family Medicine and is a Council member of the College of Family Physicians Singapore.
Dr Eng spends his free time volunteering for home medical care with hospital, and various Ministry of Health initiatives such as nursing home visits and clinical guideline development. He is also passionate about teaching and sharing his knowledge. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students from all 3 Singapore medical schools, doctors from polyclinic and private sector, with mentoring roles as Adjunct Asst Prof in Family Medicine at LKC-ICL-NTU Medical School, and at the Institute of Family Medicine. Dr Eng continues to be actively involved in health education in public forums. He was also recognised for his contributions to education and awarded the inaugural NHG Outstanding Education Partners Award 2012.
Dr Eng currently serves as Medical Advisor in the NTUC Unity Healthcare Medical Advisory Council.
Dr James Cheong Siew Meng is a medical practitioner who is passionate about community medicine and care integration.
Prior to Unity Family Medicine Clinic, Dr Cheong served as an Aviation Medical Officer in the RSAF from 2007 to 2013, where he provided primary and specialist aeromedical care to RSAF aviators. In 2011, Dr Cheong was also deployed to Afghanistan as part of an SAF medical deployment. After attaining his Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2013, Dr Cheong left the SAF to pursue Family Medicine full time. Since then, he has immersed himself in primary care, practicing widely in both Government Polyclinic as well as the private sector, before joining Unity FMC.
Dr Chan Shijie is a Family Physician who is dedicated to providing personal and continuing care for patients and their families.
Dr Chan started as a medical officer with Singhealth Polyclinics, Bedok in 2008. After attaining his Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2011, Dr Chan was recognised as a Family Physician, a post he held at Singhealth Polyclinics till 2013.
Dr June Tan is a Family Physician who is passionate in providing continuing care for patients and their families. She has a keen interest in paediatric conditions such as child development.
Dr Tan started as a medical officer with Singhealth Polyclinics, Bedok in 2009 and completed her Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2012, Dr Tan was recognised as a Family Physician in Singhealth Polyclinics since 2013.
Dr Darren Chen is a Family Physician who is passionate about providing community based care for seniors to help them age in place.
He started his career in 2009 where he rotated through medical, surgical, and emergency medicine disciplines. In 2013, Dr Chen entered SingHealth’s family medicine residency training programme, and subsequently continued as a Resident Physician with SingHealth Polyclinics till 2015. In 2016, Dr Chen completed his Masters of Medicine in Family Medicine.
Apart from his duties at Unity FMC, Dr Chen serves residents at NTUC Health nursing homes, as well as seniors at their homes. In his personal time, Dr Chen volunteers with overseas medical relief teams to deliver care to villagers living in remote areas, such as in 2015 where he volunteered to provide medical assistance to villagers in the outskirts of Chiang Mai, Thailand.
